This was the last piece of art I created in my Santa Fe studio in September 1991 before I left for my first trip to India. When I returned in January 1992 I realized I had painted the Masculine Divine within the Feminine Divine. While I was at the Bangalore Art of Living ashram with my Gurudev, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a Shiva puja called the Rudrabhishekha was performed in a building named Devi, a thatched roof and poles without walls.
"I love the print!! I feel a sense of balance & harmony when I look at it. While I'm aware of the full page of imagery, there's a definite pull to the center. I love that it represents Divine Feminine & Divine Masculine Energy. For me, that is the vibration of all life & union of Creation. In its simplicity, it sends a powerful message. Thank you for your beautiful work, it brings me peace & joy. BTW, my husband mentioned yesterday how much he likes it too. He's preparing for a trial, so it speaks to your work that it got his attention during a rather hectic time." Lynn McCandless, FL
