Sheets of metal are crafted into three-dimensional repoussé images using tiny chisels, which requires patience and skill. Textural "imperfections" are hallmarks of repoussé. Rajendra Bajracharya, the master artist, is a Buddhist priest. Devotion and sweetness radiate from this refined, uplifting jewelry.

These sacred mantra pendants were cast with the lost wax method and are about 3/4 inch in diameter. They are a traditional panchadhatu formula--five metals of gold, silver, copper, zinc, and tin--that infuse the mantra amulets with healing and protective energy.
